The Romantic Breakfast

So in this month i am sure ya'll trying to have the most romantic breakfast that will leave an impression which would last the whole day. Well...this is just what you need.

The heart tea scones

The shape itself makes them enticing..




baking time 10-15 mins
baking temp 180 degrees Celsius
serve with; tea
makes; 20-40 (depending on the size of the cutter)

Ingredients


  • 250 g flour
  • 1 tbs baking powder
  • 75 g sugar
  • 75 g margarine
  • 2 eggs (one for egg-washing)
  • 125 ml milk
  • heart-shaped cutter


The procedure



  • Preheat oven.
  • Measure all the required ingredients.



  • In a bowl put together flour, baking powder, sugar and margarine.
  • Using your fingertips rub in until the mixture looks like fine breadcrumbs.
  • Add in one egg and the milk then make a soft short dough.
  • Roll out to a width of  2-3 cm.
  • Cut using the cutter.
  • Grease a baking tin and place in the cut out pieces.   
  • Egg-wash then place in the oven
  • Bake till golden brown or until ready.
  • When ready place on a rack to cool.
